Biogaia is looking for a skilled, experienced and people oriented Digital Content Director. Your main task will be to develop the sales and marketing activities by increasing BioGaia’s focus on digital content in their marketing and sales channels. Your objective will be to develop the business by creating value-adding digital content for partners and consumers.

Job description
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning & production of all Content for BioGaia’s Digital Channels, global corporate & direct markets, to increase brand awareness & sales on external online platforms such as: web, SoMe and market places such as Amazon. 
The digital team’s focus is to create all types of digital content that will drive traffic, and sales, to BioGaia. We are looking for a skilled individual with the understanding of effective content, that can lead BioGaia’s digital content team to the next level.
You will work closely with the global e-commerce team in the sales department, and with the marketing team. You will also oversee a smaller digital content team consisting of a Web Manager, SoMe Manager & a Copywriter and you are reporting to the VP Marketing Director. The position is placed in BioGaia Sweden’s office at Kungsbroplan in Stockholm.

  • Overall responsibility for developing and improving BioGaia’s online content in all their digital channels (owned, paid and on market places). This includes for example the company websites (corporate & direct markets), social media channels and marketplaces such as Amazon.
  • Monitor presence on other digital platforms (for ex. various consumer communities, social media, influencer sites) where the target group is present in order to increase online and offline sales and also increase brand/product awareness.
  • Develop always-on-content as well as campaigns for SoMe channels. Responsible for the global content calendar and securing BioGaia’s visual ID is unified globally..
  • Act as an interface and coordinator towards external and internal marketing resources, such as PR-, communication-, media- and digital advertising agencies.
  • Act as an interface and coordinator towards other external and internal stakeholders, such as Global E-commerce Manager and local partners.
  • Assist partners with their digital content initiatives, share learnings and being responsible for sharing the global content calendar with partners.
  • Setting and monitoring KPI´s for digital campaigns and initiatives, reporting campaign results, with key learnings and suggestions for improvement.
  • Responsible for upgrading the BioGaia corporate .com website; content creation, SEO, SEM. Together with the Web Manager. Monitor traffic and consumer behavior on own platforms, share learnings and suggest improvements.
  • Potential Podcast startup
  • Management of the digital content team.

Your profile

  • 5+ years experience from a similar role and leadership experience.
  • Relevant education in marketing/digital marketing.
  • Skilled in content creation and delivering complex messages in a digestible way.
  • Experience in monitoring KPI´s such as CTR, conversion rate, working with targeting and retargeting campaigns alongside growing Social Media channels.
  • Experience from working with media agencies for digital campaigns.
  • Open and curious mindset and can easily understand new areas and customers´ perspective, always monitoring KPI´s to propose necessary changes.
  • Outgoing personality and a creative mindset.
  • Interest in health and wellbeing
  • Knowledge in: Google analytics. Digital Advertising: Google Ads, Social Media channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram & TikTok)
  • Strong interest in digital and SoMe platforms, knowing what´s trending and always keeping up to date with the latest.
  • Ideally experience of working in an international environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work strategically as well as operational.
  • Ability to lead and influence in a changing environment.
  • Fluency in English & Swedish is a requirement.
