Are you an experienced accountant with a strong background in finance and experience working in an international environment? Then this can be a unique opportunity for you!
BNP Paribas is looking for a senior accounting and reporting officer for its Stockholm office. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting production, managing all reporting activities such as local statutory and regulatory reports, monitoring and contributing to the local budget exercise, and also contributing to continuous improvement projects impacting all financial activities. Further, you´ll be contributing to both the account payables and account receivables processes as well as being a back-up and support for local financial activities in the Nordic region.
You will be a part of a team of five persons and you´ll report to the regional CIB Nordic CFO.
You have a university degree in finance & accounting, economics or equivalent. At least 4-5 years of work experience in finance preferably in an international setting within the financial sector. Experience with auditing is a plus.
Good knowledge of the central bank regulatory requirements and also of Swedish and/or Danish regulatory reporting requirements and tax regulations as well as accounting principles such as IFRS.
You are a motivated and solution-oriented person with strong communication and collaborative skills. You have confidence in yourself as well as having the ability to prioritize among tasks, work under pressure and meet set deadlines. You enjoy working both together with others but also having your own responsibilities and projects to deliver on. You are a pro-active person who likes to broaden your knowledge!
Professional proficiency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages, preferably Swedish and/or Danish.
