Arbetsbeskrivning / Work Description
Do you have previous experience as a category manager and want to take the next big step in your career? Do you like to be in the driving-seat? Do you want to make a difference, every day? If so, you might be the ambitious candidate we are looking for.
You will be fully in charge of the performance of our assortment which covers more than 23 000 items. You will drive purchasing activities in the Nordics (100+ suppliers) and will have strong support from our Group purchasing team (access to our existing 700+ suppliers in Europe).
Your mission covers 3 main aspects:
• Development of the assortment: You develop our current assortment based on market potentials or on specific customer requirements.
• Product Marketing: You constantly align company marketing plans by optimizing product ranges, but as well by gaining access to more innovation from our suppliers, mainly via our group product managers.
• Profitability: You have talent to reduce the cost of buying goods while not putting at risk the service.
You are responsible for the entire lifecycle of the product and are the owner of the sourcing process.
You are the Nordic main point of contact for our suppliers with full responsibility regarding contracts, supplier evaluation and purchasing prices.
And you are far from being afraid to occasionally help customers on specific cases or projects.
You work closely to the Sales and Marketing department to setup and animate a road map in the Nordic Organization.
You are the main contact of our local suppliers and you develop supplier strategies aligned with company business goals.
As the main Nordic point of contact for our Group Offer and Purchasing Teams, you join and contribute to an existing network of European Colleagues within Manutan in order to faster share best practices from other countries / areas.
Din profil / Your profile
You have at least 3 to 5 years proven experience in purchasing activities in B2B in product areas connected to Maintenance, Repair and Operations (transport & lifting, warehouse & industry, work environment & safety, waste and cleaning, office & reception…)
You are used to manage wide and deep product ranges. You have a visible passion for product development and Product Lifecycle Management has no secret for you.
You are operational in sourcing and purchasing and you have appreciated knowledge when it comes to supply chain.
Fluent in Swedish and English is a requirement for this position (French or another Scandinavian language is a plus).
Easy with IT tools, and Office, you are structured, very organized, not afraid of managing a massive amount of data, and projects.
