Inhouse / Jobb / Performance Marketing Specialist EMEA to Aon

Are you ready to play a key role within the EMEA Growth Marketing Team? Are you an independent, energetic, and a self-starter who can build and optimise multiple marketing programs which drive demand in different countries in Europe? If so, this might be the role for you!

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Stockholm office.

What the day will look like

The EMEA Performance Marketing Specialist will report directly into the Growth Marketing Leader in the Nordics. The focus of this role is to activate, implement and optimise engagement and demand generation campaigns across Europe. Therefore, it has two distinct responsibilities:

Marketing activation expertise in EMEA

  • You will partner with Aon’s EMEA Buyer Team(s) to activate regional marketing programs that support EMEA growth priorities in the Nordics, Ireland, and Poland, paying particular attention to channel strategy, targeting and tactics.

  • You will systematically collect data, optimise campaign performance and provide findings and recommendations across key campaigns and programs

  • Using existing marketing activation platforms, you will consolidate all activation information to provide marketing colleagues with continuous analyses and a deep dive from the regional reporting into local needs for all programs.

Marketing delivery in the Nordics, Ireland, and Poland

  • Activation and deployment of EMEA and local country marketing programs that underpin growth priorities in their allocated subregion/countries. Activation includes handling online and offline channels and tactics. Special focus on the digital activation of programs incl. social media. Activation of all programs will be done with the joint support of the various in-country growth marketing specialists.

  • Close alignment with Regional Growth Marketing Leaders by buyer type to ensure local country needs are considered by Insights (Solution Line) Marketing team.

  • Ensuring lead processes are effective and consistent to optimise regional and local lead nurturing and lead engagement.

  • Measure, report, and analyse results on the marketing activation programs.

How this opportunity is different

The EMEA Performance Marketing Specialist plays a significant role within the EMEA Growth Marketing Team. The role is split between the Nordics (45%), Ireland (45%), and Poland (10%) and is based in Stockholm. This is a remarkably interesting position because you will act as ‘activation guide’ between the EMEA Marketing team and the teams in the Nordics, Ireland, and Poland, with a focus on localizing and activating regional programs for each country. For these reasons, the ideal Performance Marketing Specialist will be autonomous and driven, to be able to deliver tasks in a timely manner.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

The EMEA Performance Marketing Specialist will have:

  • Several years marketing communications experience (preferably with a digital first approach)

  • Higher education with a focus on marketing, sales, management, or a comparable qualification

  • Digital savvy and used to developing campaign activation strategies and being independently responsible for running advertising campaigns on paid channels

  • Highly organised with strong project management skills (including event management) with the ability to complete multiple programs and events at the same time with speed, accuracy, and efficiency

  • An analytical approach with demonstrated experience making data driven decisions that lead to successful campaign outcomes and desired ROI. You will be accustomed to supervising and optimising campaigns using business analytics, measurements, and dashboards

  • Proficient in English with good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate data related information easily to a wide range of clients

  • Applications welcomed from individuals with experience working in an agency with similar tasks, or in an in-house team.
