Hoist Finance is looking for a Head of Communications to join us in our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

About the role:

As our new Head of Communications, your primary responsibility will be to lead and execute communications strategies that align with our overall organizational targets and objectives. The role involves overseeing internal and external communication plans and projects, managing the company´s public image, and ensuring consistent messaging across various channels and platforms.

The Head of Communications will play a vital role in fine-tuning and maintaining a positive and consistent brand experience, with focus on corporate- and internal communications. The Head of Communications will report to the Head of Investor Relations and Communications.

We are looking for an initiative-taking communicator and team-player, with a proven track-record of handling the media, a skilled writer of different kinds of articles and texts (including speeches), and preferably someone with specialization in media training.

If you have experience from working with publicly listed companies, this will be seen as an advantage. You are fluent in English as our corporate language, and you find working for a business with international presence a clear positive.

The role includes collaborating with senior executives, where you support external appearances and contribute to a successful overall communication. You are also responsible for updating and developing the corporate website and for strengthening the brand image in close collaboration with international teams, ensuring both design and tonality.

Work description:

-Develop and implement communication strategies and plans that align with Hoist Finance’s overall organizational targets and objectives.
-Project manage various corporate- and internal communications development initiatives as well as other project.
-Build strong relationships with media.Lead initiatives for consistent messaging and engaging employee programs.
-Overseeing and produce content for various channels, in line with brand guidelines, including e.g., the corporate website, internal web, Annual- and Sustainability Reports, etc.
-Provide communication support to senior executives including speechwriting and media preparations.
-Provide communication support to local teams in HF’s various markets.
-Contribute to building a strong brand image.
-Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure integrated communication strategies with other departments, including e.g., People, Sustainability, Finance, etc.

Candidate’s profile:
-The suitable candidate should have a university degree in an appropriate field such as communications/PR, business, or finance.
-At least 7-10 years of experience in external strategic and operational communications.
-It is necessary to have an excellent command of Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
-Your competencies include a driven and independent “doer” mentality, an operational hands-on approach with the ability to take own initiatives.
-You are social, non-prestigious, and service-oriented and have experience in collaborating with different departments and skill sets, as well as senior executives. --
-Knowledge of various systems such as Cision Press, EPI Server, WordPress, and PowerPoint is meritorious, as well as media experience and business press contacts.
-A skilled writer with the ability to build bridges and trust.
-Travelling is required on a regular basis.
